In their youth, the old woman and her husband were fierce warrior mages. After a battle that left their village destroyed, they remained in the village to avenge their people. Emotionally scared from the battle, everyday the old woman wakes up and stands at the outskirts of the village to wait for the enemy to return. But they never come. Her husband stands by her side, emotionally drained from trying to convince her to move on after so many years.

I don’t draw enough old people so this was fun!
